PID Tuning Rig-Mannual

High-Precision Drone PID Tuning Rig (For 5 to 7-7-10 ,10-13 Inch Drones, as per sizes ) Optimize flight performance, eliminate propwash, and fine-tune your PID loop safely on the bench. Why Choose Our PID Tuning Rig? Tuning via flight testing can be tedious and dangerous. Our rig allows you to connect to Betaflight Configurator, run your motors, read Blackbox data in real-time, and see the immediate physical reaction of your drone safely. Engineered and manufactured in India with readily available spare parts and dedicated customer support. Package Includes: Main Tuning Rig Base, Adjustable Drone Clamp Plates, Assembly Hardware Kit, and User Manual. ________________________________________ Product Overview The Skymission- PID Tuning Rig is a heavy-duty, low-friction calibration platform engineered specifically for FPV pilots, drone developers, and academic researchers. Designed to accommodate 5-inch, 6-inch, and 7-inch &10 Inches drones, this rig allows you to push your motors to the limit, test step-responses, and perfect your Betaflight, INAV, or ArduPilot tunes without the risk of flyaways or costly crashes. Built with premium materials to ensure zero mechanical slop, it isolates drone movement to a single axis for pure, unadulterated data analysis. ________________________________________ 🛠️ Technical Specifications Feature Specification Supported Drone Sizes 5-inch, 6-inch, and 7-inch FPV / Cinematic drones Axis Control Single-axis rotation (Pitch or Roll selectable via lock mechanism-Optional ) Bearing Type Ultra-low friction, high-speed dual ball bearings (Zero-play) Material Construction High-grade CNC Machined Aluminium & Carbon Fiber Base Plate Heavyweight steel/alloy base with pre-drilled workbench mounting holes Maximum Thrust Support Up to 5 kg (Suitable for high-power 6S/8S setups) Mounting Pattern Universal Extruded slotted base Dimensions 450mm x 300mm x 3000mm ( Customisable ) Weight 3.5 kg (Provides solid desktop stability) ________________________________________ ✨ Key Features • Safe Bench Tuning: Test aggressive P, I, and D gains, filters, and dynamic idle settings without the risk of injuring yourself or damaging your quad. • Ultra-Low Friction Movement: Equipped with specialized high-speed bearings that ensure the rig doesnot introduce mechanical latency into your logs. • True Axis Isolation: Lock down the yaw and pitch to isolate just the roll axis (or vice versa) to see exactly how your D-term dampens oscillations. • Universal Frame Compatibility: Adjustable carbon fiber mounting plates easily clamp down standard X-frames, H frames, and stretched-X cinematic platforms. • Heavy-Duty Stability: The weighted base plate prevents the rig from lifting or vibrating during full-throttle step-response testing. ________________________________________ 📦 Applications • FPV Racers ; Freestyle Pilots: Achieve a locked-in stick feel and eliminate mid-throttle oscillations. • Drone Manufacturers , QA Labs: Bench-test mass-produced drones to flash standard, optimized tune profiles. • Robotics Research & Development ; Universities: Ideal for students studying control systems engineering and closed-loop feedback systems. Analysis software to analyze the flight data , making reports is also available on extra cost .
